Mandurah Plein Air Artists Inc (MPAA) annual artwork sale and exhibition which opens at Miami Plaza Shopping Centre on Monday 31st July.

The exhibition is called Approaching Landscapes and runs until Sunday 13th August. The opening hours of the exhibition align with the opening hours of the Centre. Mon-Fri 8.00am-9.00pm, Sat am-6.00pm and Sun 10.00am-5.00pm

All the artwork on display is for sale and is original in oils, pastels, acrylic and mixed media. There are 18 artists in the exhibition this year, all members of MPAA.

En Plein Air means outdoors and is the relatively modern term now used to describe landscape painting that is started and finished outdoors on location. Sometimes there is a little studio adjustment but only minimal. The MPAA meet every Tuesday morning at a different location in Mandurah and surrounds so you may recognise many of the locations in the artworks.

The artists themselves will be staffing the exhibition so come along, see the artwork and take the opportunity to chat with the artists. Perhaps you'll find a special piece for your home of a local scene that you love and know well.

Any artwork purchases must be paid for and taken on the day of purchase. Cash or credit card both accepted.
